 Nancy L. Jobes,O.M.,B.Div. | Nancy Jobes is originally from the state of New Jersey in the U.S. Currently she resides in the snowy Upper Peninsula of Michigan on the Canadian border with her husband and daughter, dog, and four cats. She has credits in Humanities from Kean College of N.J. and Brookdale College in N.J. including speech, communications, parapsychology and occult literature, and creative writing. She is an ordained minister with her Bachelor's degree of Divinity in Ministerial Counseling and Metaphysical Healing through the Universal Brotherhood Movement in Florida. |
Nancy has been studying astrology since 1988. With a strong focus and interest in Jungian psychology, mythology and metaphysics, she has combined all three studies for use in astrological and spiritual counseling. Born and rasied a Catholic, she has an understanding of the Christian religions, as well as time in study of pagan and "New Age" belief systems. Her own spiritual beliefs are therefore a mixture of these diverse ideals with the metaphysical. Nancy works as an astrological counselor and spiritual counselor with people from all faiths and lifestyles. She also is now doing some work as a writer.
Her current projects include writing the astrology column for Suite101.com, hosting an astrology chat/class for the Reality Box on Friday evenings in the WBS/Infoseek Chat Network, as well as being Astrology Poderator in the Tripod community. Also, she has written articles for different online magazines around the net on astrology and metaphysics. Nancy can be found in different areas on the web. Her other interests include animal welfare, including integrating of wolves back into the ecosystem and spay/neuter programs for pets. She has two horses that currently live with her mother in P.A. that she greatly misses while residing in M.I. Above and beyond everything, she does all work from her home office so she
may stay home to be with her daughter.
Other intrests of Nancy's include web and graphic design, and she has designed several sites on the net as well as her own.
She enjoies reading horror fiction, mystery, and surpernatural novels frrom authors such as Stephen King, Anne Rice, Johnathan Kellerman's Alex Delaware mysteries, Dean Koontz, and others. Her favorite astrology authors are Liz Green, Howard Sasportas, Richard Idemond, and Robert Hand.
Her favorite physical activity is Roller Skating, and she participated in The Garden State Games in speed skating in 1990. Her musical taste varies from Classical to Rock, and has favorites in almost all genres of music. Some favorites are Chopin, Rush, Led Zepplin, Cheap Trick, Neil Diamond, and the Beatles.
